March 16, 2011—Julian Branimir Zelenika Day
Today we come together to focus all of our attention on Julian Branimir Zelenika who passed on March 16, 2010.
Dear Prayer Giver,
Wherever you are, take a moment to sit down and bring all of your awareness into this sacred present moment. Allow your thoughts and cares of the day slip away from you now as you enter the present moment completely. Slowly now, take in a deep breath and slowly let the breath out; breathing in deeply and exhaling fully. And again, inhale slowly and exhale thoroughly.
As you read these words, take the time to open your heart and really feel and think about what you are saying in this sacred moment: Dear Julian, We The Prayer Team, are with you now, in thought and spirit. We send you energy and love at all levels and we pray that you will feel it and know how very loved you are.
Meditation/Visualization: —continue to sit comfortably and allow yourself to be here in the present moment, letting go of your cares and worries of the day.
Now, bring all of your attention to the tip of your nose and imagine that you are the gatekeeper at the gates of a big city and that it is your very important job to watch the coming and the going of your breath. Simply focus all your concentration at the tip of your nose and observe your breath as it enters and leaves you.
As you breathe-in, focus on the feeling of the breath as it enters your nostrils
As you breathe-out, focus on the feeling of the breath as it leaves your nostrils
Breathing-in feel the breath coming into you
Breathing-out feel the breath as it leaves you
Continue to focus on your breathing
If your mind wanders away off into thought, gently bring your focus back to the tip of your nose and resume your position as gatekeeper, watching the coming and going of your breath
As you breathe-in feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils
As you breathe-out feel the warm air as it leaves your nostrils
Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm
Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm
In cool, out warm…in cool, out warm
Now as you breathe-in, envision Julian
standing in the light before you
As you breathe-out, envision Julian right in front of you, looking vibrant and well
As you inhale, envision drawing energy into you
As you exhale envision directing that energy to Julian
As you inhale continue to visualize energy entering into you.
As you exhale see this energy flowing outward from you and surrounding Julian
Bathing him in light and loving energy
See Julian surrounded by energy
See Julian smiling
See Julian laughing
See that Julian is free
As you breathe-in feel that you are strengthened by this energy
As you breathe-out direct this feeling of strength to Julian’s family
As you breathe-in draw peace into yourself
As you exhale send that feeling of peace to Julian’s family
Dear Julian, we see you smiling and glowing in the light. May you know that LOVE, the one universal sustaining force, is being sent to you now and always will be. May you feel it and know that love is without end. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered. Love to you dearest Julian. We love you, The Prayer Team.

Julian,
I knew your mom when she was in her 20’s and you weren’t even a thought yet! She came to the United States, a young, beautiful, European student looking for work as a nanny and she came to work for me and lived in our building in Greenwich Village and helped me with Danny and Aaron, but mostly Danny. We became close friends your mom an I, but as life would go, your mom, (who we called Ana because we couldn’t pronounce Snjezana) returned to Croatia and met your dad. Neither of us ever dreamed that such a thing as The Prayer Registry would one day bring us back together, but as John Lennon so aptly said, “Life is what’s happening when we’re busy making other plans.” So, we are here now and we all miss you kids and we all know the longing to hold you again in our arms. But we will hold you instead in our hearts and carry you always in our thoughts and keep you, our beloved babies, close to us through thick and thin! xoxoxo Julian
I pray for their continued strength and encouragement. Julie will never be forgotten. Continue to hold her close to your hearts.
Julian, I was present in prayer on your day! We carry you in our hearts.
