June 21, 2011—Tyler Ray Nichols Day

June 21, 2011—Tyler Ray Nichols Day

Today we come together to focus our attention on Tyler Ray Nichols who passed on June 21, 2008.

Dear Prayer Giver,

Take a moment to sit down and bring all of your awareness into this sacred present moment. Allow your thoughts and cares of the day slip away from you now as you enter the present moment completely. Slowly take in a deep breath and slowly let the breath out; breathing in deeply and exhaling fully. And again, inhale slowly and exhale thoroughly.

As you read these words, take the time to really feel and think about what you are saying, for this is indeed a sacred moment.

Dear Tyler, We The Prayer Team, are with you now in thought and spirit. We send you energy and love from our souls to yours and we pray that you will feel it and know how very loved you are.

Meditation/Visualization: —continue to sit comfortably and allow yourself to be here in the present moment, letting go of your cares and worries of the day.

Now, bring all of your attention to the tip of your nose and imagine that you are the gatekeeper at the gates of a big city and that it is your very important job to watch the coming and the going of your breath.  Simply focus all your concentration at the tip of your nose and observe your breath as it enters and leaves you.

As you breathe-in, focus on the feeling of the breath as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out, focus on the feeling of the breath as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in feel the breath coming into you

Breathing-out feel the breath as it leaves you.

Continue to focus on your breathing

If your mind wanders away going off into thought (which is common in meditation) gently bring your focus back to the tip of your nose and resume your position as gatekeeper, watching the coming and going of your breath.

As you breathe-in feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out feel the warm air as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

In cool, out warm…in cool, out warm.

Now as you breathe-in, envision Tyler

standing in the light before you

As you breathe-out, envision Tyler looking vibrant and well

As you inhale, envision drawing energy into you

As you exhale envision directing that energy to Tyler

As you inhale continue to visualize energy entering into you

As you exhale see this energy flowing outward from you and surrounding Tyler

Bathing him in light and loving energy

See him surrounded by energy

See him smiling

See him laughing

See that Tyler is happy and free

As you breathe-in feel that you are strengthened by this energy

As you breathe-out direct this feeling of strength to Tyler’s family

As you breathe-in draw peace into yourself

As you exhale send that feeling of peace to Tyler’s family

Dear Tyler, we all see you smiling and glowing in the light. May you know that LOVE, the one universal sustaining force, is being sent to you right now and always will be. May you feel it and know that love is without end. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered.  Love to you dear one. Peace be with you Tyler. We love you, The Prayer Team.

Dear Tyler and Family: I pray you will feel all the prayers and be lifted in spirit. We miss them dearly but faith, prayer, time, and knowing we will see them again is the only thing to hold too. But know that they are near to us in spirit.

    • Thank you Carla, I find it easy to lift others in prayer, but when it comes to the anniversary of my son’s death, I find it hard to focus and I do pray, but the emotions well up inside as only another mother knows and we don’t want it to be another year, we don’t want it to be a second. Thank you so much for your prayer and words of encouragement.

    • Sheri, I have been praying for others daily and this is such a worthy a cause. I cannot tell you how good it was to open my laptop, check my e-mail, and see all of these prayers posted for me and my family. It gave me a lot of comfort knowing that even though another year has passed by without my son, there are many who can truly understand and know exactly what to say and what to pray to help us get through days like this. Thanks is not enough! Sincerely, Tonya ❤

  12. sheriperl says:

I thank all of you because without everyone there wouldn’t be a prayer team. And realize that only a few people write in on this page. We are over 240 strong and growing. The energy from all the prayers is incredible. I know it will help me come July 1 and I am so grateful for it!

    Much Love to all
    Sheri, Danny’s mom
