June 28, 2011—Ben Braunstein Day
Today we come together to focus our attention on Ben Braunstein who passed on June 28, 2009.
Dear Prayer Giver,
Take a moment to sit down and bring all of your awareness into this sacred present moment. Allow your thoughts and cares of the day slip away from you now as you enter the present moment completely. Slowly take in a deep breath and slowly let the breath out; breathing in deeply and exhaling fully. And again, inhale slowly and exhale thoroughly.
As you read these words, take the time to really feel and think about what you are saying, for this is indeed a sacred moment.
Dear Ben, We The Prayer Team, are with you now in thought and spirit. We send you energy and love from our souls to yours and we pray that you will feel it and know how very loved you are.
Meditation/Visualization: —continue to sit comfortably and allow yourself to be here in the present moment, letting go of your cares and worries of the day.
Now, bring all of your attention to the tip of your nose and imagine that you are the gatekeeper at the gates of a big city and that it is your very important job to watch the coming and the going of your breath. Simply focus all your concentration at the tip of your nose and observe your breath as it enters and leaves you.
As you breathe-in, focus on the feeling of the breath as it enters your nostrils
As you breathe-out, focus on the feeling of the breath as it leaves your nostrils
Breathing-in feel the breath coming into you
Breathing-out feel the breath as it leaves you.
Continue to focus on your breathing
If your mind wanders away going off into thought (which is common in meditation) gently bring your focus back to the tip of your nose and resume your position as gatekeeper, watching the coming and going of your breath.
As you breathe-in feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils
As you breathe-out feel the warm air as it leaves your nostrils
Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm
Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm
In cool, out warm…in cool, out warm.
Now as you breathe-in, envision Ben
standing in the light before you
As you breathe-out, envision Ben looking vibrant and well
As you inhale, envision drawing energy into you
As you exhale envision directing that energy to Ben
As you inhale continue to visualize energy entering into you
As you exhale see this energy flowing outward from you and surrounding Ben
Bathing him in light and loving energy
See him surrounded by energy
See him smiling
See him laughing
See that Ben is happy and free
As you breathe-in feel that you are strengthened by this energy
As you breathe-out direct this feeling of strength to Ben’s family
As you breathe-in draw peace into yourself
As you exhale send that feeling of peace to Ben’s family
Dear Ben, we all see you smiling and glowing in the light. May you know that LOVE, the one universal sustaining force, is being sent to you right now and always will be. May you feel it and know that love is without end. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered. Love to you dear one. Peace be with you Ben. We love you, The Prayer Team.
To Ben and his family,
My thoughts and prayers are with you today. Ben, you are being loved right now by so many of us. Feel this love and know that it is everlasting. To Ben’s family, may you feel Ben’s spirit close to you today.
Sending my love,
Sheri, Danny’s mom
Heavenly Father,
I humbly come to you and pray that you will wrap the family, friends and community in a blanket of comfort as they reflect on the precious life you created and gave eternal life. I pray they will find peace knowing that this child of God is sitting at the feet of Jesus listening intently as he has all of his questions answered. I pray that the heavenly trumpets are playing a special song for him and the streets paved with gold lead him on beautiful, heavenly journeys. I pray the family will turn to you in their grief and allow you to carry them through these difficult days where they miss their precious child. I pray all these things in your heavenly name. Amen.
I am so sorry for your loss and the pain that you have to deal with daily. I wish there was something that I could do to take that pain away. I can’t but I hope you find some peace in knowing that each year your child will never be forgotten.

Dear Father we pray that Your love and peace surround the loved ones of Ben today. Let them feel the love of other bereaved parents as they lift up their son in loving memory. Be with us all in our difficult hours and remind us that our loved one is near by sending us the little signs from them, we pray. Amen.
Sending love and prayers to Ben and his family. God Bless all of them.

Remember Me
To the living, I am gone
To the sorrowful, I will never return
To the angry, I was cheated
BUT, to the happy, I am at peace
…and to the faithful, I have never left
I cannot speak, but I can listen
I cannot be seen, but I can be heard
So as you stand upon the shore
Gazing at the beautiful Sea, remember ME

Lord, we lift Ben up in prayer knowing his is safe in your loving arms. Comfort his family during each day as they struggle on this very long winding road.

Being a bit slow technologically, I’ve just discovered all these prayers today, the day after Thanksgiving after learning how to leave a prayer for dear Nicholas William Cann. What a blessing.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. Ben’s Mom, Margaret.
