July 29, 2011—Eric Clausen Day!

June 29, 2011—Eric Clausen Day

Today we come together to focus our attention on Eric Clausen who passed on June 29, 2010

Dear Prayer Giver,

Take a moment to sit down and bring all of your awareness into this sacred present moment. Allow your thoughts and cares of the day slip away from you now as you enter the present moment completely. Slowly take in a deep breath and slowly let the breath out; breathing in deeply and exhaling fully. And again, inhale slowly and exhale thoroughly.

As you read these words, take the time to really feel and think about what you are saying, for this is indeed a sacred moment.

Dear Eric, We The Prayer Team, are with you now in thought and spirit. We send you energy and love from our souls to yours and we pray that you will feel it and know how very loved you are.

Meditation/Visualization: —continue to sit comfortably and allow yourself to be here in the present moment, letting go of your cares and worries of the day.

Now, bring all of your attention to the tip of your nose and imagine that you are the gatekeeper at the gates of a big city and that it is your very important job to watch the coming and the going of your breath.  Simply focus all your concentration at the tip of your nose and observe your breath as it enters and leaves you.

As you breathe-in, focus on the feeling of the breath as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out, focus on the feeling of the breath as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in feel the breath coming into you

Breathing-out feel the breath as it leaves you.

Continue to focus on your breathing

If your mind wanders away going off into thought (which is common in meditation) gently bring your focus back to the tip of your nose and resume your position as gatekeeper, watching the coming and going of your breath.

As you breathe-in feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out feel the warm air as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

In cool, out warm…in cool, out warm.

Now as you breathe-in, envision Eric

standing in the light before you

As you breathe-out, envision Eric looking vibrant and well

As you inhale, envision drawing energy into you

As you exhale envision directing that energy to Eric

As you inhale continue to visualize energy entering into you

As you exhale see this energy flowing outward from you and surrounding Eric

Bathing him in light and loving energy

See him surrounded by energy

See him smiling

See him laughing

See that Eric is happy and free

As you breathe-in feel that you are strengthened by this energy

As you breathe-out direct this feeling of strength to Eric’s family

As you breathe-in draw peace into yourself

As you exhale send that feeling of peace to Eric’s family

Dear Eric, we all see you smiling and glowing in the light. May you know that LOVE, the one universal sustaining force, is being sent to you right now and always will be. May you feel it and know that love is without end. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered.  Love to you dear one. Peace be with you Eric. We love you, The Prayer Team.

  8. Sharon says:

Today is the first anniversary of my son Eric’s passing. Thank you
for your prayers and kind thoughts today. I have been with the Prayer
Registry for almost a year now. I believe it is a very powerful and
wonderful way to remember our children and a testament to our
everlasting love. I see our prayers much like a beacon of enery,
light and love being sent out. The brightest part of the beacon is
focused on the child we are honoring and their family; but the
remainder of that beacon reaches out to all the other children in our
group. So our children feel the benefits of our prayers not just once
a year, but many times. As we are connected by the Prayer Registry on
this side, so are our children on the other side.

    Love and Peace,
    Sharon, Eric’s Mom

    Dear Eric,
You are being loved right now and you always will be. May you feel this love around you and understand that it is forever. May you be happy and peaceful and may you continue to grow and develop in your life now, on the other side. All of us are sending our love to you and we are one powerful force of parents who care.

To Sharon, thank you for what you wrote. I too believe that all the children are connected over there, as we are over here and that in this way we all help each other. This is bigger than we even know. I am so grateful for the presence of The Prayer Team!

    Much Love,

  12. Sheri - Mom of Cornelius says:

    Sharon & Eric –

May love and peace continue to be the bond that links you until you once again feel the embrace that can only be understood by a parent and their child. How blessed your mother must feel to have shared in your time here, Eric. May you both feel each other’s presence and love.
