December 8, 2012— Benjamin Emerson Probert Day!

Today we come together to focus our attention on a very beloved Prayer Registry Child: Benjamin Emerson Probert who passed on December 8, 2010.

Dear Prayer Giver,

Take a moment to sit down and bring all of your awareness into this sacred present moment. Allow your thoughts and cares of the day slip away from you now as you enter the present moment completely. Slowly take in a deep breath and slowly let the breath out; breathing in deeply and exhaling fully. And again, inhale slowly and exhale thoroughly.

As you read these words, take the time to really feel and think about what you are saying, for this is indeed a sacred moment.

Dear Benjamin,

We The Prayer Team, are with you now in thought and spirit. We send you energy and love from our souls to yours and we pray that you will feel it and know how very loved you are.

Meditation/Visualization: —continue to sit comfortably and allow yourself to be here in the present moment, letting go of your cares and worries of the day.

Now, bring all of your attention to the tip of your nose and imagine that you are the gatekeeper at the gates of a big city and that it is your very important job to watch the coming and the going of your breath.  Simply focus all your concentration at the tip of your nose and observe your breath as it enters and leaves you.

As you breathe-in, focus on the feeling of the breath as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out, focus on the feeling of the breath as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in feel the breath coming into you

Breathing-out feel the breath as it leaves you.

Continue to focus on your breathing

If your mind wanders away going off into thought (which is common in meditation) gently bring your focus back to the tip of your nose and resume your position as gatekeeper, watching the coming and going of your breath.

As you breathe-in feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out feel the warm air as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

In cool, out warm…in cool, out warm.

Now as you breathe-in, envision Benjamin

standing in the light before you

As you breathe-out, envision Benjamin looking vibrant and well.

As you inhale, envision drawing energy into you

As you exhale envision directing that energy to Benjamin

As you inhale continue to visualize energy entering into you

As you exhale see this energy flowing outward from you and surrounding Benjamin

Bathing him in light and loving energy

See him surrounded by energy

See him smiling

See him laughing

See that he is happy and free.

As you breathe-in feel that you are strengthened by this energy

As you breathe-out direct this feeling of strength to Benjamin‘s family

As you breathe-in draw peace into yourself

As you exhale send that feeling of peace to Benjamin‘s family.

Dear Benjamin,

We all see you smiling and glowing in the light. May you know that LOVE, the one universal sustaining force, is being sent to you right now and always will be. May you feel it and know that love is without end. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered.  Love to you dear one. Peace be with you Benjamin.

We love you,

The Prayer Team

For Benjamin and your loved ones,
Positive thoughts of love from my heart to you and your loved ones that you all will find comfort and a measure of peace in all the blessings sent your way. To your loved ones, may the never-ending love you have for each other bring you the strength to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Benjamin please know that your loved ones take you with them wherever they go in this life. No matter how long or short your time shared with them here was, their love is just as strong now as when you were physically with them, time nor distance can change that. Please let your loved ones know you are with them always but especially on this day.

Love and prayers today for Benjamin. May he be surrounded by light, joy and love. What a lovely person he sounds.
Edna, my heart goes out to you today. I cried when reading your beautiful poem because I can identify with every word in it. Thank you for this. My son passed from exactly the same reason, also in 2010. I just hold onto the fact that they are still around us and that we will meet them again someday. I hope that today is gentle for you. I have lit candles for you and for Benjamin.
Love and God bless from Jo – Shane’s mum

Sending prayers, love and light to Benjamin, his family, and loved ones on this angelversary date…a date Heaven gained a beautiful angel but the lives of those left behind were altered forever! Benjamin, you are forever missed and eternally loved! Love never dies on either side of the veil! I pray that as the days go on that the veil will become thinner!

    Dear Edna!
I read your poem and your tribute to Benjamin! My son passed the same way…I believe no one was more shocked than he, when he awoke in the company of angels! But know that you will meet again across the rainbow bridge into eternity where you will be met with open arms by your precious Benjamin! Your tears of sadness and grief will be replaced with tears of happiness and JOY when yet again, you will hear that laugh, see that smile and the twinkle in the eyes of the precious boy who went ahead of you on his journey!

    With Love,
    Sonja–Jon-Jon’s mom forever!

  6. My son passed in a way similar to your son’s death (although someone actually was with my son and let him pass away). Your poetry is beautiful. I will pray for Benjamin.

I read your story of your son and it touched my heart…as my son to died 7 years ago of a accidental overdose. I have no magic advice. Your son will never leave you..Your grief is very young. Give your self time. Watch for signs from your son. Your poem was incredibly beautiful. God bless Ben on his journey>

For Benjamin and all he left behind; I hope you feel the waves of love and prayer being sent to you today. I wish for you a gentle day; full of loving memories. I too lost my son like this- senseless tragedy that you never fully recover from. Please lean on each other and know that we will be reunited with our children again. They are a part of our heart and soul and THAT can never be taken from us. My fav quote that fits so well- “Trust the Universe, I’m safe, it’s only change.”
