Dear Prayer Giver,

Take a moment to sit down and bring all of your awareness into this sacred present moment. Allow your thoughts and cares of the day slip away from you now as you enter the present moment completely. Slowly take in a deep breath and slowly let the breath out; breathing in deeply and exhaling fully. And again, inhale slowly and exhale thoroughly.

As you read these words, take the time to really feel and think about what you are saying, for this is indeed a sacred moment.

Dear Caden, Cassie, Menton, and Yvette,

We The Prayer Team are with you now in thought and spirit. We send you energy and love from our souls to yours and we pray that you will all feel it and know how very loved you are.

Meditation/Visualization: —continue to sit comfortably and allow yourself to be here in the present moment, letting go of your cares and worries of the day.

Now, bring all of your attention to the tip of your nose and imagine that you are the gatekeeper at the gates of a big city and that it is your very important job to watch the coming and the going of your breath.  Simply focus all your concentration at the tip of your nose and observe your breath as it enters and leaves you

As you breathe-in focus on the feeling of the breath as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out focus on the feeling of the breath as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in feel the breath coming into you

Breathing-out feel the breath as it leaves you

Continue to focus on your breathing

If your mind wanders away going off into thought (which is common in meditation) gently bring your focus back to the tip of your nose and resume your position as gatekeeper, watching the coming and going of your breath

As you breathe-in feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out feel the warm air as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

In cool, out warm…in cool, out warm

Now as you breathe-in envision Caden, Cassie, Menton, and Yvette

standing in the light before you

As you breathe-out envision Caden, Cassie, Menton, and Yvette looking vibrant and well.

As you inhale, envision drawing energy into you

As you exhale envision directing that energy to Caden, Cassie, Menton, and Yvette

As you inhale continue to visualize energy entering into you

As you exhale see this energy flowing outward from you and surrounding Caden, Cassie, Menton, and Yvette

Bathing them in light and loving energy

See them surrounded by energy

See them smiling

See them laughing

See that they are all happy and free

As you breathe-in feel that you are strengthened by this energy

As you breathe-out direct this feeling of strength to the families of Caden, Cassie, Menton, and Yvette,

As you breathe-in draw peace into yourself

As you exhale send that feeling of peace to the families of Caden, Cassie, Menton, and Yvette.

Dear Caden, Cassie, Menton, and Yvette,

We all see you smiling and glowing in the light. May you know that LOVE, the one universal sustaining force, is being sent to you right now and always will be. May you feel it and know that love is without end. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered.  Love to you dear one.s Peace be with you all.

Know that we love you,

The Prayer Team

Another day without you, another tear silently falls
I have grown accustomed to an aching heart and false smile
But I will never grow accustomed to life without

  11. On April 21, 2013 my only child, Ian Bass, left this world and me behind because of too many binges due to drinking and Rx meds. (DOB 4/19/1980 to DOD 4/21/2013)
He is my everything. Always has. Always will be. For ever and ever.
When he left he was 33 years old. I was 33 when I became pregnant in July 1979. Christ was 33 when he died, they say. Ian is my gift from God. I prayed for him for years and I fell in love the moment I conceived through artificial insemination as a single person. A last ditch effort to get pregnant.
My life, as I knew it is gone. This year (2016) I turn 70. I hope it’s my last. I can’t seem to find a purpose in living like some do. Something to give to others in order to bring life and meaning into my life. It’s just not there. I’m tired and useless to anyone. Unless God brings a miracle into my life, I feel lost with no purpose or hope.

    • Adrian says:

Elizabeth, I am thinking about you and Ian. Ian will always be your gift from God. You have a purpose here and I know you look forward to the day when Ian walks you home.
