Dear Prayer Giver,

Take a moment to sit down and bring all of your awareness into this sacred present moment. Allow your thoughts and cares of the day slip away from you now as you enter the present moment completely. Slowly take in a deep breath and slowly let the breath out; breathing in deeply and exhaling fully. And again, inhale slowly and exhale thoroughly.

As you read these words, take the time to really feel and think about what you are saying, for this is indeed a sacred moment.

Dear Madaline,

We The Prayer Team are with you now in thought and spirit. We send you energy and love from our souls to yours and we pray that you will all feel it and know how very loved you are.

Meditation/Visualization: —continue to sit comfortably and allow yourself to be here in the present moment, letting go of your cares and worries of the day.

Now, bring all of your attention to the tip of your nose and imagine that you are the gatekeeper at the gates of a big city and that it is your very important job to watch the coming and the going of your breath.  Simply focus all your concentration at the tip of your nose and observe your breath as it enters and leaves you.

As you breathe-in, focus on the feeling of the breath as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out, focus on the feeling of the breath as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in feel the breath coming into you

Breathing-out feel the breath as it leaves you.

Continue to focus on your breathing

If your mind wanders away going off into thought (which is common in meditation) gently bring your focus back to the tip of your nose and resume your position as gatekeeper, watching the coming and going of your breath.

As you breathe-in feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out feel the warm air as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

In cool, out warm…in cool, out warm.

Now as you breathe-in, envision Madaline

standing in the light before you

As you breathe-out, envision Madaline looking vibrant and well

As you inhale, envision drawing energy into you

As you exhale envision directing that energy to Madaline

As you inhale continue to visualize energy entering into you

As you exhale see this energy flowing outward from you and surrounding Madaline

Bathing her in light and loving energy

See her surrounded by energy

See her smiling

See her laughing

See that she is both happy and free.

As you breathe-in feel that you are strengthened by this energy

As you breathe-out direct this feeling of strength to Madaline’s family

As you breathe-in draw peace into yourself

As you exhale send that feeling of peace to Madaline’s family.

Dear Madaline,

We all see you smiling and glowing in the light. May you know that LOVE, the one universal sustaining force, is being sent to you right now and always will be. May you feel it and know that love is without end. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered.  Love to you dear one. Peace be with you Madaline.

We love you,

Sending you positive thoughts of love from my heart to yours and your loved ones. May you feel the love that surrounds you. May your loved ones find comfort and a measure of peace in all the blessings sent their way. Your never-ending love for each other will give you the strength to keep putting one foot in front of the other. Precious Madaline please know that your loved ones take you with them wherever they go in this life. No matter how long or short your time shared with them here was, their love is just as strong now as when you were physically with them, time nor distance can change that. Please let your loved ones know you are with them always but especially on this day.

  7. Amanda Greenwood says:

This is my Madaline on May 10, 2007. She passed the next day in my arms peacefully on May 11 due to a chromosome deletion. It has been 6 years today but seems like yesterday. I do not want to be selfish cause I know she is with God and pain free. But I have so much pain and grief. Madaline did more for my life in 10 months then I did for myself she made me stop doing any drug and I never went back to those days. So my baby saved me and I wished I could’ve saved her as well. Today is so hard cause I just want to hold her and read to her one last time. Madaline and God seen that I was hurting and blessed me with a healthy Abbigial 4 days before Maddy’s 5 birthday. I may only had her for 10 months but i thank God for letting me have Maddy. Your life was cut short but one day Mommy will make up for lost time with you. Just remember you will always be my baby as long as I’m living. Sissy and Mommy loves you and miss you today like every single day. — feeling sad.

Another day without you, another tear silently falls
I have grown accustomed to an aching heart and false smile
But I will never grow accustomed to life without
    My precious son Joey.

Having a son in heaven changes everything.
