Today we come together to focus our attention on a very beloved Prayer Registry Child: TemilayoOluwa Ogooluwasubomi IkeOluwa Akimwumiju who passed on July 21, 2013.

Dear Prayer Giver,

Take a moment to sit down and bring all of your awareness into this sacred present moment. Allow your thoughts and cares of the day slip away from you now as you enter the present moment completely. Slowly take in a deep breath and slowly let the breath out; breathing in deeply and exhaling fully. And again, inhale slowly and exhale thoroughly.

As you read these words, take the time to really feel and think about what you are saying, for this is indeed a sacred moment.

Dear TemilayoOluwa,

We The Prayer Team are with you now in thought and spirit. We send you energy and love from our souls to yours and we pray that you will feel it and know how very loved you are.

Meditation/Visualization: —continue to sit comfortably and allow yourself to be here in the present moment, letting go of your cares and worries of the day.

Now, bring all of your attention to the tip of your nose and imagine that you are the gatekeeper at the gates of a big city and that it is your very important job to watch the coming and the going of your breath. Simply focus all your concentration at the tip of your nose and observe your breath as it enters and leaves you.

As you breathe-in, focus on the feeling of the breath as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out, focus on the feeling of the breath as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in feel the breath coming into you

Breathing-out feel the breath as it leaves you.

Continue to focus on your breathing

If your mind wanders away going off into thought (which is common in meditation) gently bring your focus back to the tip of your nose and resume your position as gatekeeper, watching the coming and going of your breath.

As you breathe-in feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils

As you breathe-out feel the warm air as it leaves your nostrils

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm

In cool, out warm…in cool, out warm.

Now as you breathe-in, envision TemilayoOluwa

standing in the light before you

As you breathe-out, envision TemilayoOluwa looking vibrant and well.

As you inhale, envision drawing energy into you

As you exhale envision directing that energy to TemilayoOluwa

As you inhale continue to visualize energy entering into you

As you exhale see this energy flowing outward from you and surrounding TemilayoOluwa

Bathing her in light and loving energy

See her surrounded by energy

See her smiling

See her laughing

See that TemilayoOluwa is happy and free!

As you breathe-in feel that you are strengthened by this energy

As you breathe-out direct this feeling of strength to TemilayoOluwa’s family

As you breathe-in draw peace into yourself

As you exhale send that feeling of peace to TemilayoOluwa’s family.

Dear TemilayoOluwa,

We all see you smiling and glowing in the light. May you know that LOVE, the one universal sustaining force, is being sent to you right now and always will be. May you feel it and know that love is without end. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered. Love to you dear one. Peace be with you TemilayoOluwa.

We love you,

The Prayer Team

…if we saw all the difference even the tiniest of our prayers make, and all the people those little prayers were destined to affect, and all the consequences of those prayers down through the centuries, we would be so paralyzed with awe at the power of prayer that we would be unable to get up off our knees for the rest of our lives.

For precious child TemilayoOluwa, and your loved ones,
Thinking of you all and sending you positive thoughts of love from my heart to yours and your loved ones. Feel the love that surrounds you from all the people sending you positive thoughts of peace. I speak your name to the universe so that you will know you will never be forgotten. May your loved ones find comfort and a measure of peace in all the loving thoughts for them. I believe with every fiber of my being that our children are whole, happy, and free of all worries. Your never-ending love for each other is infinite and ever-present.

TemilayoOluwa please know that your loved ones take you with them wherever they go in this life. No matter how long or short your time shared with them here was, their love is just as strong now as when you were physically with them, time nor distance can change that. Please let your loved ones know you are always near them, especially on this day.

I am forever and always, Jason and Christian’s grateful and proud mom, and grateful and proud mom of my Sarah, Christian’s twin and Jason’s little sis, who is still on this side with me. Someday the veil that separates us will part and I know you will both be there with hugs and kisses to greet me.
