Today we come together to focus our attention on Marti LoMonaco who passed on November 3, 2009.
Dear Prayer Giver,
Take a moment to sit down and bring all of your awareness into this sacred present moment. Allow your thoughts and cares of the day slip away from you now as you enter the present moment completely. Slowly take in a deep breath and slowly let the breath out; breathing in deeply and exhaling fully. And again, inhale slowly and exhale thoroughly.
As you read these words, take the time to really feel and think about what you are saying, for this is indeed a sacred moment.
Dear Marti, We The Prayer Team, are with you now in thought and spirit. We send you energy and love from our souls to yours and we pray that you will feel it and know how very loved you are.
Meditation/Visualization: —continue to sit comfortably and allow yourself to be here in the present moment, letting go of your cares and worries of the day.
Now, bring all of your attention to the tip of your nose and imagine that you are the gatekeeper at the gates of a big city and that it is your very important job to watch the coming and the going of your breath. Simply focus all your concentration at the tip of your nose and observe your breath as it enters and leaves you.
As you breathe-in, focus on the feeling of the breath as it enters your nostrils
As you breathe-out, focus on the feeling of the breath as it leaves your nostrils
Breathing-in feel the breath coming into you
Breathing-out feel the breath as it leaves you.
Continue to focus on your breathing
If your mind wanders away going off into thought (which is common in meditation) gently bring your focus back to the tip of your nose and resume your position as gatekeeper, watching the coming and going of your breath.
As you breathe-in feel the cool air as it enters your nostrils
As you breathe-out feel the warm air as it leaves your nostrils
Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm
Breathing-in cool, breathing-out warm
In cool, out warm…in cool, out warm.
Now as you breathe-in, envision Marti
standing in the light before you
As you breathe-out, envision Marti looking vibrant and well
As you inhale, envision drawing energy into you
As you exhale envision directing that energy to Marti
As you inhale continue to visualize energy entering into you
As you exhale see this energy flowing outward from you and surrounding Marti
Bathing her in light and loving energy
See her surrounded by energy
See her smiling
See her laughing
See that she is happy and free.
As you breathe-in feel that you are strengthened by this energy
As you breathe-out direct this feeling of strength to Marti’s family
As you breathe-in draw peace into yourself
As you exhale send that feeling of peace to Marti’s family.
Dear Marti, We all see you smiling and glowing in the light. May you know that LOVE, the one universal sustaining force, is being sent to you right now and always will be. May you feel it and know that love is without end. You will always be loved and you will always be remembered. Love to you dear one. Peace be with you Marti. We love you, The Prayer Team.

I will say a prayer for the family since you are enduring the loss of your child and the pain is so evident with them physically not being with us..I am so sorry for your loss and pray for a little kindness and light on your days ahead.

To Marti’s beloved friends and family, The loss of a child is so painful and it is something we never get over. Know that there are many of us that walk this path with you. It’s a journey none of us ever wanted to take. One day we will all be reunited with our beloved children and that will be a joyous day. Hugs to you today.

Heavenly Father,
I humbly come to you and pray that you will wrap the family, friends and community of Marti in a blanket of comfort as they reflect on the precious life you created and gave eternal life. As a mother who has lost a son, I understand their loss and I pray they will find peace knowing that this child of God is sitting at the feet of Jesus listening intently as she has all of her questions answered. I pray that the heavenly trumpets are playing a special song for her and the streets paved with gold lead her on beautiful, heavenly journeys. I pray the family will turn to you in their grief and allow you to carry them through these difficult days where they miss their precious child. I pray all these things in your heavenly name. Amen.
